It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

It's peanut butter jelly time!
Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time!

A beautiful morning isn't complete, until you have peanut butter and jelly for breakfast. They're just so great together, PB&J. You can toss them onto anything. By anything, I mean any flour-based meal. Normally PB&J come in between two slices of bread. They also top nicely on stacks of pancake or waffle. Have you tried them on pizzas, croissants, or donuts?

Whoever combines peanut butter and jelly for the first time, he/she must be a genius. It's said that the average American will have eaten 1,500 of PB&J sandwiches before graduating from high school. And I'm sure PB&J hype is not exclusive to those Americans. In my country, they're pretty common as well. We prefer to call them PJ, though.

Not only scrumptious, but PB&J are also nutritious. Well that's not all. They're the ingredients to a famous viral hit: the ‘Dancing Banana’ emoticon and the song “Peanut Butter Jelly Time”. No way you'll forget that hilarious thing!

It's peanut butter jelly time!
Peanut butter jelly time! Peanut butter jelly time!

So let's go bananas in this cute PB&J t-shirt from SnorgTees. Printed on a light blue base, That's My Jam ($19.95) features the peanut butter and the jelly dancing to the funky (banana dance) tunes! Why does it have to be a banana, anyway? Hmm, I bet it makes a tasty mix with PB&J. Let's give it a try, right away!

Po-Po-Po-Poker Hands

There's this cousin of mine who turns out to be a poker master. He's got that poker face, he deceives his oppponents. That's why I prefer not to play against him. It's much more interesting to play in his team. He teaches me good stuff :D

Royal Flush.
Straight Flush.
Four of a Kind.
Full House.
Flush.
Straight.
Three of a Kind.
Two Pair.
One Pair.
High Card.

I'm still learning to handle the stack of cards, though. I also practice to mimic my cousin's poker face. Still I haven't got it right. The next cool stuff that I aim is the poker tee shirt. Designed by SnorgTees, the Poker Hands ($19.95) helps me remember different kinds of card combination. Or so I hope, my opponents will lose focus while pronouncing those names over my tee shirt. Haha!

Where Does Popcorn Come From?

What's your favourite snack for movie night? Hmmm nothing beats popcorn. There's a reason why popcorn is preferable as movie snack. It makes no annoying chewing sound, so that none will be distracted.

Speaking of popcorn, I just found this adorable tee shirt on Threadless: the Microwavolution! Priced at $20, this design comes from Wenceslao Almazan and Terry Fan. The brilliant collaboration brings up the simple evolution of popcorn through the microwave.

Just put a handful of popcorn seeds into the microwave. Let them pop for a few minutes (oh how much I love that popping sound!). And voila, we get a bag of popcorn!

It happened to me that my last movie night was with my little cousins. You know kids. They're always asking this and that, why and how. However, I didn't have to worry about fulfilling their curiosity while we were making popcorn together. "Here cuz, take a look at my Microwavolution tee!"

The only problem came later, when I asked, "How would you like your popcorn, salty or glazy?" Instead of sticking to the options, those cute little rascals started to mention millions kind of food to mix with our popcorn. Beef bacon, seriously?

Aloha!

"Hello - Gooodbye. I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello."

I wonder if The Beatles got caught up with Aloha girls. They didn't know what the girls were saying: hello or goodbye?

In Hawaii, Aloha could either mean 'hello' or 'goodbye'. It's seriously confusing, so I tried to do a little research on it. And by research, I mean I looked it up on Wikipedia :p

The word Aloha means affection, love, peace, compassion and mercy. So much that you can tell by saying it. There I conclude that Hawaiians love to bless one another with all the good stuff. They want to say Aloha as much as they can. Whenever they meet and whenever they part. That's actually pretty sweet, right?

To gain the Aloha spirit in your everyday lives, why not take this Aloha from Busted Tees? The light blue tee shirt is available in different sizes from XS to 3XL. For $24, you can show Aloha anytime you meet your family, friend, neighbor or even stranger.

I'm carried away by the friendliness of Hawaiians.
There's only one more thing for me to say: Aloha!

Packs of Popularity vs Packs of Mystery?

One of the things that remain the same with Cotton Factory is the tee shirt packs. Remember their Days of the Week Pack?

Now they have some more interesting packs. One amongst is the Best Pack Ever! It contains 4 of Cotton Factory's most popular tees: Awesome Possum, Slow Jam, Pandas, and Circle of Trust. The best thing about it is the pocket-friendly price. Normally priced $18.00 each, the whole pack only costs $48.00. Just count how much bucks you can save!

With the Best Pack Ever, you can definitely get the top rated tees. You know what you pay for, and you're happy with it. But what if you're the type who's into more challenging stuff?

Cotton Factory's got this crazy yet awesome idea. It's the magical Mystery Tee Pack! Buying one of these means signing up for a surprise. You have no idea what tees you're gonna get until the pack arrives at your door. And there's no return policy for this one. Intriguing, right?

New Awesome Factors at Cotton Factory

It's been a while since I last visited the Cotton Factory. Guess what, they got a newly refreshed website. Me likey!

One of the new awesome factors is the Idiotic Table of Tee Elements. In spite of the name, it's genius! They categorize their tee shirts based on the elements (of fun). There's "Ho" for seasonal, "Gl" for girlz, "Ty" for typeolicious, "Un" for unicorns, and even "Ar" for pirate. Ar yea!

Let's try "Co" for countries. Very clever collection there. And I'm sure you're gonna love this one.

"'I'm Hungary for Turkey", such an amusing word play!

We get to learn a bit of geography, too. "I'm Hungary for Turkey slathered in Greece and sandwiched between Syria and Iraq".

Oh and here's another awesome factor: the Colorator! If a tee shirt is available in a few colors, you can see the color alternatives arranged in molecule-like shapes.

As for this Hungary for Turkey, you can get it in light green, dark green, dark blue, purple, red, brown, light brown, or black. My pick is red. Combined with the yellow print, you know that provokes the appetite.

I'm in a state of Hungary, bring me to the Turkey!

When I Was a Kid, I Used to Deliver Papers

Woke up this morning, checked out the front porch. "Where's my paper?"

Uh-oh, it was among the bushes. And it was soggy. Oh c'mon! It must have been the new paperboy. Can't he just make a soft landing? Somewhere clean and dry, the way I want my daily reading.

Next time I see him, I'll challenge him for the battle of paper-delivery. I bet I'll beat him. Fair and square, within Paperboy- the video game :D

Not to boast, but I was pretty good at the game. Call me papergirl! I used to play it everytime I come to my cousin's house. Paperboy was a cool and challenging game. It's funny that just now I found Paperboy again. Of course, the way I see Paperboy now is 20-years-different with how I remembered it back then.

When I played Paperboy as a kid, it looked just fine. But playing it again now, I started to wonder, "Was it really this simple? I thought the graphics was sophisticated." It was, in its era. And it wouldn't be fair to compare such technology, now and then. Instead, let's just relive the past and don't give too much thought. You know what, the game itself is no less fun!

To recelebrate how much I love Paperboy, I got myself a tee shirt from SnorgTees. One that says "When I Was a Kid the World Looked Like This". Yep, the Paperboy world looked so simple. Yet it got me addicted. As soon as I finish writing this, I guess I'll be back playing the game ;)

From Tokyo, Spy Camera with Love

"Bond. James Bond," that's how the agent 007 introduces himself. Most of the time, he looks charming in his fancy suits. Ever wonder if only he wears tee shirts once in a while?

No one could've pictured it better than ThinkGeek. I present you From Tokyo With Love Electronic Spy Camera Shirt!

It's "From Russia with Love" at first sight. Radiant blue tee shirt with classic spy style artwork that definitely brings back the movie's premiere poster.

Centered in the artwork is the British secret agent holding a camera to his face. Wait a minute, it's no ordinary picture of camera.

Hidden behind the soft cotton exterior is a tiny fully-functioning color digital camera. That's right. Whatever your chest can see, the spy camera can see. A cable connects the camera to a small black box that fits discreetly in your pocket. Just reach in, press the button, and your tee shirt will capture the evidence before you.

Over 150 digital photos of 640x40 resolution can be stored in the memory. Then as your undercover mission's over, plug it in with USB to download the secret album to your computer.

Worried what will happen to this hi-tech tee shirt on laundry days? Rest assured, the camera parts are completely removable, so you can wash the tee shirt only with no worries!

No mission can't be accomplished. Aim for the Electronic Spy Camera Shirt ($39.99) as your next shopping target! Brought to you by ThinkGeek, stuff for smart masses.

Important Note
The Electronic Spy Camera Shirt is for novelty purposes only. Please respect the privacy of other humanbeings. Best results are achieved by shooting during the day. Night shots are only feasible if you can stand amazingly still and your subjects are not moving.

Cheating, Gambling, or Studying?

A new semester is about to start. How did you handle the previous one? I hope there was no cheating involved.

Every once in a while, some courses are just too hard, that you're tempted to practice a tiny deceitful trick. Especially when it comes to final exams. You're desperately forced to do almost anything to pass the barrier.

I know, I've been there. It wasn't until my sophomore year that I started to clean up myself. I realized that if I kept on cheating, there could be no end to it. I might even turn into a corrupt politician in the future. Just saying.

So then I stopped peeking nor 'cooperating' during exams. Some questions I couldn't answer, I skipped them. After finishing the whole test, I counted the blanks. Holding on to wild guessing, I picked a letter A, B, C, D, or E to fill all of them. Yup, betting on 20% to be correct. Chances are I could be silly or I could be lucky.

And SnorgTees understands just that sentimental sense of gambling. A tee shirt called "Studying Sucks, I Prefer To Gamble" is made for us who get lost in exams. Being clueless, we choose to believe in the I-wish-they-were-right answers. This latest addition to SnorgTees is currently on sale for $14.95 ($5 off this week only!).

In spite of the result, gambling is valued more than cheating. At least you attempt to use your own instinct, instead of others' brain. Next time you better use your own brain, of course!

I'm giving this reminder now, so you can start over in the new semester. No cheating and (hopefully) no gambling. Choose studying!

Caught Up in an LDR?

LDR as in Long Distance Relationship. You know, when your boyfriend lives in another part of the world. That sucks. You can't see him everyday. Well, actually you can, by means of the innovation of Skype or some sort. But of course it never feels the same. Virtual interaction can't beat the real-world one. There's no holding hands or caressing each other in tough times. Oh tell me, do you miss him now?

I've never been in an LDR, but I've heard a lot from my friends' experience. Some didn't make it, while some still last up until now. What's the secret potion? I think BustedTess got it right.

Because relationships are a marathon, not a sprint. It's a long run, literally. You're geographically away from each other. In the other hand, it's also a long run, figuratively. If you wanna stay together, you gotta stick for quite some time. At least until one of you decides to move towards the other. And yes, it's one hell of effort and commitment throughout the journey. But if you've really found the one, it'll be worth it, right?

To liven up the spirit, grab the Long Distance Relationship tee shirt from BustedTees. One for you, and one for him. That makes the total cost of $40. An upside for LDR, you won't be looking silly for wearing couple tee shirts together :D

Magic Word

Tell you about this magic word. With it you can do almost anything in the world. Almost, because it only works for good intentions. You can climb the highest mountain, reach the farthest sea, and many other thing that seems so imposible, just by using this magic word. And yes, the word doesn’t have any connection with falling star. Oh come on guys, don’t be so disappoint, falling star is so old fashion.

Once you find out about the magic word, you have to keep it in your mind, no matter what. That’s the only way to make the word powerfully works. Screaming it out loud without keeping it in your mind will only make you exhausted. Been there done that. Trust me I’ve tried it before.

The magic word is Believe. Simple isn’t it? Like the old saying. There’s nothing imposible in this world if you just believe it. In a tough time, or hard situation all you have to do is just believe in yourself, that you can do anything.

Well, Tiny Celestial have something for you who want to keep believe in mind. Just Believe Tee. The T shirt was designed by Sam Tolson and printed on a white coloured American Apparel shirt. You can have this simple way to remained you of the magic word Believe, just by CND$ 26.
Believe. The meaning can be taken a dozen different ways. Just believe in your own ability each morning when you wake up and you will be able to overcome almost anything.

Yours(dot)

What’s the first that comes into your mind when you hear the word ‘mu.’?

Is it Manchester United? Or Japanese/Korean/Chinese version of a negation but important in Zen practice? Or probably you think of the hypothetical lost continent?
If you search around the internet, you can find that ‘mu’ has a lot different meanings depending on your nationality, country and language. Well, to me, ‘mu’ means yours in Indonesian and it usually is preceded by a noun. For example, ‘your book’ can be translated as ‘buku-mu.’ (If you guess that ‘buku’ means ‘book’, you guess correct).
So, this tee (with the price of $19.95) would absolutely mean many different things to people. Despite the simple design and choice of word, it speaks more than it says. The guys from muzed. are clever, hands down. They’re from Canada and planning to offer you the most amazing skating and snowboarding apparels.
Hmm.. Given that they’re Canadians, I take it they go to McGill University in Montreal, Quebec? Haha, I’m just taking a blind shot.
muzed. is actually quite new. It was founded just this summer by two high school friends and among their passions are skateboarding, longboarding, snowboarding, anykinds of boarding (but not boarding school). The actual meaning itself can be found on this page.

The Fireman and The Salamander

Book lovers, I doubt you never heard of Ray Bradbury. The number ‘451’ would surely ring a bell to you or come up in the minds of those who has read his works. Yes, it’s the dystopian ‘Fahrenheit 451’ who criticizes American society during the time it was written.
For those who aren’t familiar with ‘Fahrenheit 451’, I urge you to get a copy of that book or e-book. Reading the synopses wouldn’t be as satisfying as reading the whole book. You could also watch the movie. The story tells of a fireman named Guy Montag, whose duty was to burn books. It is said that books catch fire at 451 degrees Fahrenheit, hence the title. Why would someone burn books, you might ask? In the book, the future anti-intellectual society has not only banned books and literatures but also is determined to destroy them.

Enclothe here wants to put their appreciation of this great novel in tee. 451 tee makes its come-back in cranberry color and with the price of $20.00. It has a print of ‘salamander’ in the back (Montag’s uniform has the salamander on the arm), but that’s because Enclothe is no bookburners. Also, in accordance to the book, the firemen in the t-shirt are actually using flamethrowers instead of waterhose. The same detail that Clarisse McClellan mentioned to Montag. (Hint: Read the book!)
Oh, enough spoilers I’d say. I truly recommend Bradbury’s fans to buy this one. I know I will. Those who aren’t, well at least try to tell the fans about it and to give ‘Fahrenheit 451’ a read.

Books on Shirts. Shirts on a Mission.

It's time to celebrate the world's greatest stories through fashion. Out of Print has this cool idea of creating tee shirts that feature iconic and often out-of-print book covers. They work closely with artists, authors and publishers to license the content that ends up in their collections.

Each tee shirt is a work of art, treated to feel soft and worn like a well-read book. The whole collection is just beautiful, but the first one caught by my eyes is the Mockingbird. My eyes don't lie. This one is Out of Print's first collaboration with award-winning designer Mikey Burton. Burton created book covers as part of his grad school thesis project to get young adults interested in reading. The particular piece was designed for Harper Lee's classic "To Kill a Mockingbird".

The Mockingbird Tee Shirt

Let's talk a bit about the book then. "To Kill a Mockingbird" deals with the issues of racism that were observed by the author as a child in her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama. This bestselling novel was published in July 1960 and won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1961. Nowadays, it remains a bestseller with more than 30 million copies in print. Despite being Lee's only published book, it led to Lee being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom of the United States for her contribution to literature in 2007.

Bravo to both Harper Lee and Mikey Burton!

Now do you need another reason to buy the tee? I'm not sure you do. But there's actually a really good reason to add up. Out of Print's mission is to spread the joy of reading. It also counts to parts of the world that don't have access to books at all. For each tee shirt you buy, one book is donated to a community in need through their partner Books For Africa. Spending $28 per tee shirt on Out of Print is definitely not a waste!

Anthem to (Literally) Heavy Metal

Remember when the music was so loud, it made the fillings in your teeth rattle out? Never got you wondering why it's called Heavy Metal. It just does rock hard. Harder than Rock.

Those of you metalheads must have dozens of band tee shirts already. From Deep Purple to Iron Maiden, Aerosmith to Megadeth, Sepultura to Korn. You name them all! But this time it's something different from ThinkGeek

Prepare yourself for a rendition of heavy metals- as in the chemical elements! The Heavy Metal tee is 100% cotton heavyweight black tee with white and red depictions of 11 heavy metals. Oh don't you worry about being too geeky. These chemical elements are doodled in the style of metal bands logos. Lead reminds you of AC/DC's lead vocalist screaming "Highway to Hell", while the theatrical spirit of Metallica is brought up by Manganese. Molybdenum looks almost exactly like Ministry, and you can see the Misfits' horror image in Cadmium

I'm gonna leave the other 7 elements for you to solve. Shouldn't be hard if you're a true metalhead, or a chemistry geek, or both. Whoever you are, proclaim your die-hard love to heavy metals (either the music or the elements) with this masterpiece of a tee shirt! The price varies according to size: $15.99 (S-XL), $16.99 (XXL), and #17.99 (XXXL).

You do, indeed, rock.
