Those father and daughter lines in I Am Sam are truly memorable. Sam Dawson is a mentally disabled father who fights for custody of his 7-year-old daughter. Remember how much Sam loves The Beatles? That's why he named his daughter Lucy, after "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".

I wonder if Alex Solis was trying to capture the movie lines in his tee shirt design, The Beetles. You can recognize it in a snap, don't you? It's a parody of the legendary Abbey Road photo scene. Well, except that The Beatles are replaced by The Beetles.

Let's see how similar both groups are. The beetle at the front is white, just like John Lennon in white suit. Behind it, two black beetles represent Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney in black. And the blue beetle at the back is definitely George Harrison wearing a set of blue jeans.

It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time!

A beautiful morning isn't complete, until you have peanut butter and jelly for breakfast. They're just so great together, PB&J. You can toss them onto anything. By anything, I mean any flour-based meal. Normally PB&J come in between two slices of bread. They also top nicely on stacks of pancake or waffle. Have you tried them on pizzas, croissants, or donuts?

Whoever combines peanut butter and jelly for the first time, he/she must be a genius. It's said that the average American will have eaten 1,500 of PB&J sandwiches before graduating from high school. And I'm sure PB&J hype is not exclusive to those Americans. In my country, they're pretty common as well. We prefer to call them PJ, though.

Not only scrumptious, but PB&J are also nutritious. Well that's not all. They're the ingredients to a famous viral hit: the ‘Dancing Banana’ emoticon and the song “Peanut Butter Jelly Time”. No way you'll forget that hilarious thing!

Ever since I heard Nena's catchy song "99 Luftballoons" and its English version "99 Red Balloons", I thought luft is German for 'red'. Apparently it isn't. Luftballoon means air balloon, instead of red balloon. Furthermore, the English version isn't quite a literal translation of the original one. Despite the slight differences, both versions pose the same spirit of anti-war protest.

A beautiful song for a touchy subject. My heart beats anxiously to its upbeat tunes. Why did they pick red for the balloons, anyway? I don't know for sure, but I'd like to relate the red balloons with red hearts. It should remind us that everyone's got a heart- so use it!

Anthem to (Literally) Heavy Metal

Remember when the music was so loud, it made the fillings in your teeth rattle out? Never got you wondering why it's called Heavy Metal. It just does rock hard. Harder than Rock.
