Who's Crawling Across the Abbey Road?
Daddy, are ladybugs only girls or are there boys, too? And if there are, what are they called?
Yeah, the Beatles.
~I Am Sam (2001)
Those father and daughter lines in I Am Sam are truly memorable. Sam Dawson is a mentally disabled father who fights for custody of his 7-year-old daughter. Remember how much Sam loves The Beatles? That's why he named his daughter Lucy, after "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds".
I wonder if Alex Solis was trying to capture the movie lines in his tee shirt design, The Beetles. You can recognize it in a snap, don't you? It's a parody of the legendary Abbey Road photo scene. Well, except that The Beatles are replaced by The Beetles.

Let's see how similar both groups are. The beetle at the front is white, just like John Lennon in white suit. Behind it, two black beetles represent Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney in black. And the blue beetle at the back is definitely George Harrison wearing a set of blue jeans. The Beetles ($20) tee is quite popular, we can tell why. It's now available again on Threadless due to reprint demand. This second release is selling out fast, go get them before it's too late!

Fahrenheit 451
The storyline of Fahrenheit 451 seems to be extreme... or doesn't it? Today we have even more complex and massive technologies. Almost every single person owns a personal technological device, be it mobile phone, laptop, audio player, tablet PC, etc. These modern devices dominate our daily life, and weaken the existence of television. Then how about books?
I gotta admit, I spend much much much more time browsing through my laptop than reading books. Yes, it is that much! A wise friend of mine advised me to read through my laptop. "Why don't you try e-books?" he said. He passed me an ebook reader software and some copies of free e-books. This is addictive, actually! I wonder if I can get myself a Kindle or an iPad :D
Next book on my e-shelve is definitely Fahrenheit 451. This weekend, I'll be sitting on my couch, flipping through the e-pages on my laptop screen. And I'll be wearing Out of Print's Fahrenheit 451 tee ($28.00). It features the book's cover from Corgi UK version.
Like always, buying a tee shirt from Out of Print means sending one book to a community in need. Encourage reading, instead of burning books!

What's Your Favorite Pizza Topping?
Do you like pizza?
Of course you do. Pizza is everyone's favorite dinner, 'cause it takes just a little effort. Pick up the phone, and you'll have it delivered to your door. For me, it takes more time choosing the toppings than the delivery time. I want this and that. Heaps of cheese? Layers of pepperoni? Stacks of anchovies? Geez, I need to make up my mind.

But with this tasty Pizza Girl's Sweatshirt from Lazy Oaf (£60.00), I can have as many pizza toppings as I like. Cute orange-yellow pizzas are all over the marl grey sweatshirt. Orange for tomato sauce and yellow for melted cheese. Oooh, tempting.
Basically, pizza is defined as oven-baked, flat, disc-shaped bread topped with those two ingredients: tomato and cheese. Other toppings depend on the culture, and experimentation. Australians love bacon and egg, and sometimes prawn. In India they have Tandoori Chicken and Paneer. Israeli prefer very large portions of vegetable toppings such as mushrooms or onions. Hmm they all sound very interesting, I wanna try them all. How about your local-style pizza? Care to share a slice with me?

Where Does Popcorn Come From?
What's your favourite snack for movie night? Hmmm nothing beats popcorn. There's a reason why popcorn is preferable as movie snack. It makes no annoying chewing sound, so that none will be distracted.
Speaking of popcorn, I just found this adorable tee shirt on Threadless: the Microwavolution! Priced at $20, this design comes from Wenceslao Almazan and Terry Fan. The brilliant collaboration brings up the simple evolution of popcorn through the microwave.

Just put a handful of popcorn seeds into the microwave. Let them pop for a few minutes (oh how much I love that popping sound!). And voila, we get a bag of popcorn!
It happened to me that my last movie night was with my little cousins. You know kids. They're always asking this and that, why and how. However, I didn't have to worry about fulfilling their curiosity while we were making popcorn together. "Here cuz, take a look at my Microwavolution tee!"
The only problem came later, when I asked, "How would you like your popcorn, salty or glazy?" Instead of sticking to the options, those cute little rascals started to mention millions kind of food to mix with our popcorn. Beef bacon, seriously?

Catch the Catcher in the Rye, in Style
It's time to get cozy with your favorite novel. You can now wear J. D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye". Brought to you by Out of Print, this stylish fleece adapts the iconic first edition dust jacket designed by Michael Mitchell.
The controversial book is hard to forget. It's hard to forget about Holden Caulfield. Whether you're in or over your teenage phase, I bet you can feel him. He's an icon for teenage rebellion and angst. But I hope you won't go too far.
From what I know, The Catcher in the Rye has been associated with the murder of John Lennon. The shooter, Mark David Chapman, was arrested with his worn copy of the book. Another example is John Hinckley, Jr.'s assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan.
This book is nothing sort of ordinary. I personally won't agree that it triggers murder actions. Instead, I would recommend people to read it, in a way that it should lead to discussions about social issues. It's a marvelous piece, indeed.
We should be thankful that we live in the freedom era, where book-banning is not preferable. We can read "The Catcher in the Rye". We can even wear it, giving the impression of "I've read this novel and it's good. Wanna talk about it?"
For $38.00, you can purchase "The Catcher in the Rye" fleece and send one book to a community in need at the same time.

Ladies, It's Hip to be Square
Who says square is contrary to better? And more importantly, who decides what's square?
According to dictionary.com, square means "conventional or conservative in style or outlook; not hip". If you wanna live a happy satisfying life, get rid of that. Just go out and be who you are. There's never any law of coolness. You can create your own version of coolness, and pour confidence in it. People will appreciate your true shine. Trust me.
Where do you think the hip stuff come from? Could be a person or two breaking the habit, trying to do stuff defined as square. Then people start noticing, and approving, "Oh well, that stuff's actually pretty awesome. Let's do that, too!"
You'll want to keep it in mind, though. It's only hip to be square, if you have the skills. When you're smart and good in the inside, style or outlook are considered minor.

So you wanna know what it's like to be square and hip, all at once? Ask Mr. Lego. He's definitely square, yet he's only ever popular! You can follow his traces by wearing this new arrival from Tshirt Bordello ($15.99). The Hip n' Square design is printed on asphalt colored tee. Made of super soft pre-shrunk 100% ring spun cotton, this American Apparel 5 ounce tee features baby jersey knit comfort and is side seamed for a custom contoured fit.

Cute Director
Are you a fan of movies? If your answer is yes, then you might familiar with Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, James Cameroon, Woody Allen, Christopher Nolan and many others. I have to admit that eventough i love their works, I barely recognize a movie director as a person, since i could only see their name on the credit title at the end of the movies, or in the opening. I believe i could be sitted next to a movie director on a 12 hours flight without knowing that he is a famous director, which movies i love.In my head a director is a strict, serious, and firm person. So faraway from the cute image that usually belong to moviestars. In my imagination a movie director always wear a neat suit, a baseball hat, and carries a megaphone all over the place, while yelling to his staff. But Mr. Black Tee have another opinion. With it’s Director Cute Tee, it shows us that a movie director could appear as cute as moviestar. If not cuter.
The T’shirt sold by 24,99 €, made of 100% Cotton and available on various size. The drawing on the tee front side shows us cartoon pictures of 15 famous Movie Directors from the past and current time. The pictures are so cute that you couldn’t resist to hug them. So, whether you are a fan of their movies or not, just grab this adorable tee. It’s perfect to accompany you to watch your favorite movies at theater. Long live cute director!

Mr. Moustache
Once, my familly was moving to a countryside, and we got this neighbour called Mr. Pitt.Well, honestly i didn’t know his real name, i just heard others called him Pitt. Mr. Pit had a huge farm with garden of apples in front of it. In spring, you can see his front yard coloured red, bright red, of the blossomed apples. I tell you, it was a great deal tempation for a kids like me. So great that It was hard to prevent my self from jump into his yard and eat all of those apples.
Unfortunately, Mr. Pit wasn’t popular among kids. With his thick moustache, he scared us to death. It was like he would pull his gun and shoot anyone who dare to steal his apples.
Guess who the person was? Mr. Pitt.
Scared to death I was crying outloud. But then I heard him laughing. Being confused, I was stop crying so suddenly I got hiccups. Turned out Mr. Pitt wasn’t that bad, even He wasn’t bad at all. He yelled at me because he want to offered me some apples he had picked on the morning. The apples in the tree wasn’t ripe enough. Behind his thick moustache, he had a sincere and warm smile. Since then me and Mr. Pitt became a good friend.
Looking this Face Tee by Mr Black Tee, remained me so much of my childhood best friend, Mr Pitt. This cute tee sold by 22,99 € and available on various size. Made by 100% cotton, this is surely the best tee to steal some apples. If you dare.

Schroeder, not Schuester, Leads the Original Glee Club
Talking about dELiA*s special program in the previous post, I figure that it'd be nice to review another tee shirt from the store.
My pick goes to the "Original Glee Club Tee". Wait, the original glee club? Does it mean this one?
Nope, it's not the popular Fox's TV series "Glee". This one comes from a different era, back in the 1960s. And the glee club leader was not Will Schuester, but Schroeder. Got familiar with the latter name? I'll give you more hints.
It was in a musical comedy "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" written by Clark Gesner. As you can tell from the title, the story is about Charlie Brown and friends. Yup, from the all-time-favorite comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz, Peanuts!
So how does the scenario go?

Charlie Brown is happy and hopeful as usual. Nevertheless, he wonders how he can really become a good person. He spends the whole day doing different stuff with different people, trying to make everyone happy. One of his activities is joining Schroeder's Glee Club.
There's that moment. Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and Linus cheer up by singing "Home on the Range" together, while Schroeder is playing the piano.
In the end, Charlie Brown realizes that being a "good man" means trying your best and making the most of the things you've been given in life. When he expresses what makes him happy, everyone, touched by his love of life, begin to express what makes them happy as well. Closing the act, Lucy comes to him and shakes his hand firmly, telling "You're a good man, Charlie Brown."

Wear It! It’s An Offer You Can’t Refuse.

Never get problem with Mob.
Nor the Mob’s family.
You’ll get an offer that you can refuse. I watched it from The Godfather. You know The Godfather, right? Mario Puzo? Don Corleone? At least you know Alpacino, aye? Haha.
The Godfather is a film about American gangster. The movie was based on novel of the same title, written by Mario Puzo. The Godfather is the one-coolest movie ever.
Here I quote one of my favorite for you. It was when Kay Adams just knew that her husband – Michael Corleone - knows Johnny Fontane, An American Actor. Michael never told Kay about him knew Johnny Fontane. Michael explained that his father helped Johnny wit his career.
Michael: Well, when Johnny was first starting out, he was signed to a contract with a band. As his career got better, he wanted to get out. But the band wouldn't let him. Johnny is my father's godson. My father offered the bandleader $10,000 to let Johnny go, but the bandleader said no.
So the next day, my father made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Kay Adams: What was that?
Michael: Luca Brasi held a gun to his head, and my father assured him that either his brains or his signature would be on the contract.
Cool, isn’t it? I remember every details on that scene. Now, speaking of an offer. Here is uneetee offer you the shirt, An Offer That You Can’t Refuse Shirt for $ 21.99 each. Feel the gun smoke in your shirt.
Kaboom!

Anthem to (Literally) Heavy Metal
Remember when the music was so loud, it made the fillings in your teeth rattle out? Never got you wondering why it's called Heavy Metal. It just does rock hard. Harder than Rock.
Those of you metalheads must have dozens of band tee shirts already. From Deep Purple to Iron Maiden, Aerosmith to Megadeth, Sepultura to Korn. You name them all! But this time it's something different from ThinkGeek.
Prepare yourself for a rendition of heavy metals- as in the chemical elements! The Heavy Metal tee is 100% cotton heavyweight black tee with white and red depictions of 11 heavy metals. Oh don't you worry about being too geeky. These chemical elements are doodled in the style of metal bands logos. Lead reminds you of AC/DC's lead vocalist screaming "Highway to Hell", while the theatrical spirit of Metallica is brought up by Manganese. Molybdenum looks almost exactly like Ministry, and you can see the Misfits' horror image in Cadmium.
I'm gonna leave the other 7 elements for you to solve. Shouldn't be hard if you're a true metalhead, or a chemistry geek, or both. Whoever you are, proclaim your die-hard love to heavy metals (either the music or the elements) with this masterpiece of a tee shirt! The price varies according to size: $15.99 (S-XL), $16.99 (XXL), and #17.99 (XXXL).
You do, indeed, rock.

Good Morning Sunshine

I love morning more than afternoon, more than evening. Morning is the start of a new day. A day that I can fill with exciting things. Morning also the time when I have my fullest spirit to overcome anything. That’s why I love to see the sunrise. Every morning I open up my window, welcoming the fresh air and warm breeze of the sun. It seems like, at the dawn, the sun open up the stary night sky slowly with it’s ray of light, and replace it with blue sky. Either it’s a cloudy or bright morning, those scenenery always makes me carried away.
For one more time Shirtcity understand exactly what I want. The great scenery of the dawn in my T-shirt. But not an ordinary one. The design shows how the sun open up the stary night sky. Perfectly like what I always imagine. For make it more spacial, the phenomenon is drawn in a cool picture, not a renaissance painting style like a common tee has. Cute sun, unzipping the stary night triangle. It’s amazing how Shirtcity could imagine such a great idea to describe the dawn.
The tee is called Morning is Coming, sold by $22,00 and available on size for boys and girls. Adorable tee to remain you of the nature’s beauty. And, good morning for you readers! :)

Guess What, I Can Make Your Nose Looked Vacuumed
Do you have any idea why they call it fisheye? Well, That’s the first question i asked when I know this kind of camera. Is it because the camera looks like fisheye? Or camera with the eye like fish? Camera only for fish? Suddenly a school of fish pass on my mind and they taking a picture of each other. Err.Apparently this Lomographic camera with fisheye lens has a wide-angle lens that takes in an extremely wide, hemispherical image. Imagine you can see everything around you compacted into a nice bubble. Your sister’s nose vacuumed into your lens. It feels like you see everything with a glass bowl in front of your eyes. Like a fish eye!! Ah.. that’s the why..
I browse some tips for fisheye camera. There are lots of discussions. But... here is the best tip I found: Just forget about the rules, push the boundaries, cross the film, color the lights, and generally do whatever it takes to tease the most inspiring images possible out of your little Lomographic beastie. Hmm, guess I can do that. Play with the camera and see how it turns into. The world will never be the same. The pictures taken by this camera has the unique effect. It’s really like looking at the picture with a bowl on top of it.
Like the picture in this tee ($28.00). A picture of the San Francisco Giants in the 2010 Playoffs printed in American Apparel. These Thriving Ink’s shirts is limited to 10 prints only!! And that’s the shirt I wanna wear when I play with my fisheye camera.
